Congratulations to all the students I have taught this year at Prince Henry’s Grammar School on the Community Education Programme. They are all now close to completion of either ‘Write a Novel in a Year’ or ‘Write a Collection of Poetry in a Year’ and I am proud of how many of them are nearing completion with either the first draft of their novel or a sizeable body of poetry from which they can make final selections for their collection. These courses will be running again in September or can be accessed on a ‘distance learning’ basis.
